I thought this would get a new release and got rid of my copy while I could get a good selling price at Half.com.

Hurray, I never understood why this was OOP for so long; one of the THE definitive McQueen films.

Stuck this in last night. Was really hyped about seeing the extended roadshow version. Sadly the color is faded pretty bad on the print they used. Couldn't watch it for more than five minutes. Stuck in the regular theatrical version and it had gorgeous color. The 5.1 soudtrack was great. Thinking of getting the soundtrack cd now.

Another bummer. Soundtrack OOP. One on ebay sitting at $45.

Apparently, a much better print of the Roadshow version exists in the U.K., better colours etc', but found too late to be used as a basis for this release. Maybe next time...

But the edition that just came out was already so-feature packed. I can't imagine double dipping on this set.
