I got the preview disc and it looks packed, but do you think it would ruin the movie watching it? I was planning on watching it this weekend to get geared up, but thought it might diminish from the theatrical as sometimes these things can do.

A good rule of thumb I follow is to never watch anything supplemental before seeing the film. There's always a chance for some kind of spoiler, large or not.

It's a pretty well known story... so, anyone who is a fan of history SHOULD be somewhat familiar with how it ends.
...but to answer your questions, no spoilers to be found on the disc.

Is this still sold at Best Buys? It's 9.99 so it's a no-brainer, since it contains a free ticket to see the film, so it's essentially free. I'll be at a BB this Tuesday, hope I can pick this up. Didn't hear anything about this at all, thanks for bringing it up!

Yes it's still at Best Buy. You actually get the 300 DVD with the movie case for free when you buy any DVD. Go pick up one of the 2-disc sets that are on sale right now for $9.99 and get the 300 disc and movie cash for free.

In my store, they were on the front display with all the new releases. I got one with my Pick of Destiny in store pickup and another one with the $9.99 Bullit 2 disc set. Will probably go see it tonight and THEN watch the bonus disc. I don't want the ending ruined like it was for Titanic (who knew the ship was going to sink?)

Well, being Warner, you can at least expect the trailer to be on the official DVD, but I'm guessing you want it now...
This is a great deal, though...Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny + 80m bonus disc + 30m 300 bonus disc + ticket to 300 = $16.99. Unbeatable!

Honestly after seeing the film the trailers themselves almost spoil quite a bit of the film. I recommend avoiding all of it before hand.

I think there is no spoiler for this DVD.
After seeing the film.. This is a highly recommended viewable feature.
WB together with Bestbuy sure do marketed it pretty well (On top of the free Movie ticket, fans will also enjoy the jampacked featurettes in this DVD)
