I really hope this gets an HD release - if it does, I'm in... who am I kidding? Even if it doesn't, I'm buying this. Why did HBO fuck this series over?

I'll be getting this eventually. Though the season (or series) really ended on a whimper.
Too bad cause S1 was excellent, S2 mediocre, but S3 was really bad. I hope the movies dont suck.

I'll be checking this out. I haven't watched Season 3 yet but will look forward to it on DVD. It's interesting that it's based on true stories, which I think has truly limited the show. Whereas if it was based on a fictitious Western town they could do almost anything and keep the story on for many seasons.
