can someone help tell me which cover is the newest release..
1. has the title typed in bold square letters..
2. has the title curved going into the black hole..

It's anamorphic. The Anchor Bay release wasn't.

Who smoked crack coming up with that cover? The ship is the only thing right on it. Earth or any planet didn't make a guest appearence and was the movie black hole sick that day so the ungly cousin black hole showed up for the photoshoot?

Yeah, but The Black Hole (and that image) are from 1979, what's Freejack's excuse?

I don't know... Mick Jagger?

This is all off-topic, by the way... the OP just wanted to know which was newer. Personally, I plan to buy the Anchor Bay release for the original artwork, but replace the disc with the newer anamorphic transfer.

my dvd has the blue letters. i think the white letters were just preliminary and changed to blue for retail.
