This is good news. I enjoyed watching Nick's Kotter marathons in the summer and on that one new year's eve.

This has been a longtime coming, and am glad it'll finally be here.

Signed, Epstein's mother.

Nice touch.

I'll be picking this up. I had a huge crush on Mrs. Kotter.

It's not an "Up You Nose with a Rubber Hose" edition?

Loved the show way back when, but i'll have to wait and see if i'll buy it though. It's 50/50 at this point.

Hell yeah, good news. But why the individual squares for the cover art, and not a 1970s sitcom Group Photo?

Can't wait to get this, it's been about 11 years since I last saw this show.

One of my favorite 70's shows.

When did Horshack ever wear a bowtie?

Looking forward to seeing this again - it always reminded me of the old Bowery Boys comedies.

We are now 5 days away from the release of this set. I love the series and would buy it in a heartbeat, especially for $17.22 after 20% coupon at DeepDiscount next week if it weren't for one big problem...

Before I buy this I need to know if these episodes have been edited in any way. If they replace the John Sebastian theme song with something else (like they replaced Billy Joel's "My Life" on Bosom Buddies) and/or if they used the syndicated/edited episodes instead of uncut ones, I can't reward the studio by buying this set even though I love the series.

So, I searched on Google and DVD-Basen... I couldn't find a single review or detail about whether the episodes are intact. Either nobody has gotten a screener copy yet or not too many people are interested in Kotter besides a few die-hard fans.

If anyone knows the answers, please post here. I'd appreciate it so much. Thanks!

Who thinks this isn't going to sell very well and that WB won't release anymore seasons?

I seriously hope that won't happen, because I'm counting on the entire show being released.

DVD Talk review:

http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=28520

No mention of any music or theme song cuts however, the reviewer mentions that the episodes on the DVD are not edited.

Wasn't the last season awful? I seem to remember Travolta had bailed either midway through or at the end of season 3 and was replaced by a real lamer.

If that's the case, then I hope at least Seasons 2 and 3 see the light of day.
