Dr. Uwe Boll's POSTAL: Or The Best Film EVAR
From an early review on IGN:
One can view the trailer here, if they so desire.
I don't know about you, but after that review from IGN and after watching the trailer I'm excited to hopefully see one of the worst films of all time make it's way to the big screen. From what it seems, it's a twenty million dollar Troma film with somewhat actual celebrities. However, since it is a film made by Uwe Boll, it will probably not be as fun or as cheesy as those Troma flicks and will probably just suck massively instead.
The footage we saw was punctuated by bloody ultra-violence and shocking imagery. An overhead shot of bloody children laying in a schoolyard was perhaps the most shocking. But Americans may react even more strongly to the depiction of Bin Laden, who is played as a media manipulator who rips off one-liners about the attacks on the towers. Is America ready for broad jokes about national tragedy?
Postal also takes dead aim (pun intended) at American gun culture and seems to be making a statement about the ease of procuring weapons and how that's leading to violence in the streets.
But wait… there's more! Foley's character in the production, called Uncle Dave, is a twisted cult leader who uses his religious doctrine to keep his subjects in a constant state of servitude. He exploits this by luring them into protracted orgies and other debauchery. In the scenes we saw, Foley was dressed in an open robe (and we mean open), wandering around the room barking orders. At the end of the scene, he takes a crap on camera. Yep, it's that kind of movie. In addition to Foley, the film stars Verne Troyer, who played Mini Me in the Austin Powers films, Seymour Cassel (Max's father in Rushmore) and Michael Pare.

Honestly, i'm sick of Uwe Boll. At first I looked forward to his movies coming out because they were so bad and it was kind of fun hearing all the critical and public reactions to them. Now, however, I think he has long worn out his welcome, and it's a tad bit annoying that he gets to spend 50 million making Dungeon Siege, when that could have gone to other filmmakers who actually care about the films they are making.

Luckily, a few movies ago he stated that he only had enough money left from his "German Film Fund" to make 5 more films...Dungeon Siege, Postal, Seed, Bloodrayne 2, and something else should hopefully make it so that he has to find other people to fund his projects (and that won't be easy).

Kinostar picks up 2 from Boll
Distrib will release 'Postal,' 'Seed'
By ED MEZA
BERLIN -- German distrib Kinostar has picked up domestic rights to two pics from helmer Uwe Boll, comedy "Postal" and horror pic "Seed."
Based on the PC game franchise by Arizona-based game developer Running With Scissors, "Postal" stars Zack Ward, Chris Coppola, J.K. Simmons, Michael Pare and Ralf Moeller in a political satire that promises to explain why Osama bin Laden turned out the way he did.
More in line with Boll's recent outings, "Seed" is a tale of revenge that also stars Pare and Moeller along with Will Sanderson, Jodelle Ferland and Michael Eklund.
Story follows a mass murderer who, after surviving his execution in the electric chair, crawls out of his grave and seeks revenge against those who tried to kill him.
Kinostar will release "Postal" on Sept. 27 and "Seed" on Nov. 22.
Boll, who has specialized in videogame-based fare such as "BloodRayne" and "Alone in the Dark," has long suffered critical lashings for his work; last year he unleashed his own wrath on critics after challenging four to go mana-a-mano in the boxing ring for a publicity stunt in Vancouver.

Seriously, I actually thought that was funny. Sure it was tasteless and completely disrespectful... but man I laughed.
Especially the part about how long security took. I might actually watch this.
