Oh well - It looks like the image won't work. I'm sure you crafty people will be able to find it though.

Well, it tells me that the black suit is more than a black suit, and that it is, indeed, Venom. That's something the trailers really haven't told me.

If that image is accurate to the film, I'm glad Raimi nailed the look of the head. That was always going to be the hardest part to pull off.

But that's been knowledge among Spider Man fans for nearly 20 years now. That's like putting spoiler alerts on images of the Statue of Liberty at the end of Planet of the Apes. Granted, maybe there are those who do not know, but at this point that's not the focus of the story at this point.

I kinda hope that's not what he looks like. He looks like a guy wearing sweat pants and a long sleeve shirt and weird mask on.

I think the mere presence of Venom in "Spider-Man 3" might be considered a spoiler but i that's the case then the title of this thread is a much more blatant spoiler than anything contained within.

Yes, I agree. However, this is the first I've seen of actual, factual Venom in the film, as opposed to simply the black suit. As far as I knew until now, Peter gets rid of the suit, and a cliffhanger ending could leave Eddie Brock finding it at the end (similar to Harry finding the Green Goblin gear at the end of SMII). The mouth confirms that full-fledged Venom makes an appearance.

I never thought of that, that would be a cool cliffhanger and a promise for a 4th movie. I hope you're right.

It looks cool but if it's an organic body covering why does it have seams on the upper body and legs and why is there material bunched up in the crotch area?

Could it be a figure showing the early stages of transformation?

He's not. Get your fill of venom in this film cause it's all contained within.

it's a spoiler because not everyone wants to know what the characters look like before they see the film. i have a few friends who refused to look at promo pics of the goblin and doc ock from the last two films because they wanted their first appearance on film to be the first time they actually got to see the characters in "real life". that's why this image can be considered a spoiler.

Spoiler:

My guess is that it's just not a very good replica. But you may be right. I have the unfinished trailer with Venom footage in it, he looks amazing. I have the feeling though that if he actually does end up in the movie, it will be very limited, possibly cliffhanger.

Ehh, not much of a spoiler. I was just talking about what I saw in the unreleased trailer regarding venom. And regarding what he's wearing, I said that the replica may not even be very accurate, but it probably is...

Sideshow's figures are almost all clothed in some way, it's sort of their trademark. It covers up the joints and articulation and in many cases results in a more authentic looking figure. This is one of those cases where it doesn't *quite* work because it makes it less true to the source material, although I think it's still a great looking figure.

The fantastic four will help spiderman defeat venom at the end of this movie. Spiderman will be in the next fantastic four film at the very end but the silver surfer will defeat him quickly.

Don't worry I will tell the directors to remove those parts and replace them with something else so this isn't a spoiler at all.

is it really a spoiler, I thought they showed these clips on Fox back in Nov.; end of first clip has Venom. I don't know because I didn't see them on tv, maybe he has only appeared in the unfinished trailer and these clips here?

O.k., I'm one of the few who don't know much about VENOM.
Can someone give a short quick history about him?
All I know is that it was a suit from space that grabed a hold of Spider-man and became like a double, I think.
