Anyone think (or have heard of) that they will come out with a special edition 360 soon? I always like to get the exclusive ones to stick it to my early adopter friends. I was really hoping that there would be one to coincide with halo 3 like the green special esition xbox that came out.

They're all the same, but you can change the face and they have special edition faces. That's about it. I don't know of them planning on making any SEs.

Japan has the Blue Dragon edition....

Korea got a bunch of them I think.

I still maintain that the only way I would purchase an Xbox is if it gets an integrated HD DVD player.

I am hopeing that that feature will be built in once Halo 3 comes out and I have to buy

It took MS about 3 years to come out with a Special Edition XBox, so we are about 2 years away from a 360 SE.

I believe they had a special edition for xbox developers and MS employees at launch or within the first year. It was green I think.
