Went to Costco this morning to get Sopranos Season Six Part One for $42.69 (after the $20 discount) and found Saturday Night Live: Season One for $40.29, as well as the new Frank Capra Collection priced at $35.69. When I got to the register, $5.00 was knocked off the Capra box as "CPN/150814," a code of which I wasn't aware, making the cost $30.69.

Also got the new Thomas Harris HANNIBAL RISING for $15.19, a book, true, but certainly with film tie-ins.

Costco keeps getting better with their box prices, more than making up for their not-so-hot prices on individual new releases.

Thanks for the prices - I've been planning to pick up both sets. Off to Costco...

I ended up going this route earlier today, but it's still Costco for Capra. Any idea how long this discount will be in effect? Have others been getting the discount at checkout?

At my costco it was 37.49 for the Capra set, then 5 bucks off. Then 41.something for SNL.

I believe it was $37. Maybe a dollar higher or lower.

Costco seems to be having a lot of unadvertised instant rebates.
I was in Las Vegas on business earlier this week and picked up the Alien Quadrilogy which they had for $31.99. There was an instant $10 coupon so it cost $21.99 plus tax. Item number is 154331 . The same item number was used for Bruce Lee Ultimate collection,, Sidney Poiter Box set ( In the Heat of the night, They Call Me Mister Tibbs, For the Love of Ivory etc.) , The Star Wars Trilogy ( Parts 4, 5, and 6 single disc per film) , and Die Hard Box Set, ( 2 discs per film). The store I was at only had one Alien Quadrilogy whick i bought and one Bruce Lee set. There were many of the others.

No Capra set in my nearby Costco. Damn!
