$34.99, less a $15 rebate that printed out at the register. I had vowed to stay away from fye, but even without the rebate, $34.99 is a very good price for this set. The rebate just sweetens the deal, even though I'm sure I'll have to make a call or two to get the rebate processed correctly.

I thought I saw the Oliver Stone Collection on the BOGO DVD Box set table. Is that promotion over, and thus the $15 rebate on the box set for this week?

At the store near my office where I bought mine today (6th Ave. in midtown NY), it was not on the BOGOF DVD table. It was in a different part of the DVD section separately marked with sale stickers at $34.99. It might be worth it to check out if it is BOGOF, but I didn't have time to bother.

It also didn't indicate anywhere in the store that there was a rebate on the set, but I took a shot based upon what the poster said above, and sure enough, the rebate printed out at the register. Even the salesperson was surprised how cheap it was. The in-store rebate form shows the rebate period as 11/30/06 - 1/10/07. As to the sales price at $34.99, who knows how long that will last.

yes, if you look back at all the deal of the day deals, each one drops by about $5-$7 the day of the sale, the day after the price goes back up...

FYI - I just checked in-store and the Oliver Stone collection is $34.99 with $15 rebate. Unfortunately, it is no longer a part of the BOGO promotion. My store still had a stack of the box set still on the BOGO table though. Also, the Ultimate Matrix set is no longer part of the BOGO promotion and its price has gone back up to $54.99 from $29.99.
