Your personal Black Friday deals/purchases?
I thought this would be a fun thread to post/brag in. Also might find out something that wasn't in any ads.
For me, I was surprised to see that Target had all 4 seasons of 24 for $16 each, so I got 3 & 4.
I also picked up X-Files season 2 & 3 at Meijer for $15 each (would have gotten them all if I know the wife wouldn't kill me)
South Park season 8 for $18.99 at CC
And then for $5.98 each at Target I got Ghostbusters 2-pk, National Treasure, and 40-Year-Old Virgin (Unrated). I would have gotten Wedding Crashers too, but only the FS version was on sale.

Ice Age 2 $9.99 at WM (PM'ed Stop & Shop)
Simpsons S8 $16 at Target
X3 CE $9.72 at Best Buy (PM'ed WM)
Non-DVD related I also got the very last one of Mio GPS/MP3 system for $150 (reg. $400/450) at my local Staples after strolling in there at 6:10AM
Since it takes SD cards I got a 2GB one at Best Buy for $1.04 (used some BBB) to go with it.

I also grabbed the 19" LCD TV. Its pretty nice...and HD ready. For $179 it was too hard to pass up as a replacement for the 11 year old 20" TV in my bedroom.
I skipped my local BB, CC and Walmart, but people in line were calling family members there and as usual, it was a zoo at each of them.
I was done by 645, came home, and napped. Best part of BF IMHO.

CC "Monster House", "Intolerable Cruelty", "Street vol 2" for PS2 and "Space Channel 5" for PS2. CC wouldn't price match any ads that I had. I think there needs to be a sign stating no price matching.

Matrix, Terminator, Terminator 2 (Extreme Edition), and Reservoir Dogs (10th Anniversary) DVDs for $4 each at Circuit City.
A Seagate 120 GB portable external hardrive for $139.99, with a $110.00 mail-in rebate, also at Circuit City. This was advertised as being $169.99, so I'm not sure why it rang up as being $30 cheaper. But I'm not complaining. Thirty bucks for 120 gigs is pretty sweet.
And finally I picked up the Canon PowerShot A530 5 Megapixel 4x Optical Zoom Digital Camera for $128.99 at K-Mart.
I started shopping at around 7:30 AM. Circuit City was a madhouse. K-Mart was empty. All in all, I had a good time.

Target:
The 40-Year-Old-Virgin $5.98
March of the Penguins $3.98
Walmart:
Over The Top $3.44
The Wedding Singer $3.44
Hastings:
Basic Instinct 2 $5.99
That's it, pretty lousy since I'm broke and unemployed.

Got a load of DVD's at Walmart , via the pricematch . Could not believe the lasy at the register , she just said "ok" and kept ringing them up . My wife is a better DVD pro than I am now . She had a list of items to pricelist , the price , and which store . All stored in a folder , with the ads from other stores .
She would say "This is $x.XX at xxxxxx " and start flipping to the ad and the lady would say "OK " and grab the next movie .
She got alot of box sets , one for sure was Family Guy #3 for $16 .
We also nabbed a 51 inch projection HDTV RCA widscreen TV for $474 .
It rocks but I now need to find a place for it ...... our entertainment center has a 36 inch opening .
Im too tired to hook it up right now , I got out of bed on Thanksgiving Day at 7am and have not gone hard-down since .
My mother in law also got one of the $398 computers from WM , just for our girls to play on when they are at her house . She is tired of them booting her off her PC
I dunno how many DVD's we got this AM , if my brain did not hurt from lack of sleep Id try to figure it out .

I ended up dumping my CC stuff and walking out since they had 2 registers to check out 2000 people.
I did well at Target though. Besides taking care of most of my holiday purchases of other stuff I grabbed Simpsons Season 8 and Gilmore Girls Season 5 for $16.

Modesto, CA
Started out at Wal-Mart at about 8:30 am, only slightly crowded and no waiting for cashiers. The sales DVDs were tricky to find as they were in the aisle of the clothing department:
Maximum Overdrive WS $3.44
The Hulk WS $1.88
Casino WS $3.44
Dumb and Dumber WS + FS $3.44
The Dead Pool WS $3.44
Star Wars IV: A New Hope WS (w original version) + graphic novel $9.72
Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back WS (w original version) + graphic novel $9.72
Star Wars VI: Return of the Jedi WS (w original version) + graphic novel $9.72
Went on to Best Buy at about 9am, which was very crowded. I was interested in the Pioneer DVD burner, but Best Buy had routed the long return line through that aisle so I couldn't even access the area. I started browsing to see if I might pick up Groundhog Day for $2.99, but saw the single checkout line snaking to the back of the store and realized it wasn't worth it, so I left without a purchase.
Target is next door on Sisk in Modesto, so I popped in there and was happy to see no waiting for cashiers. I went searching for the $3.98 DVDs and finally found a special cardboard standee in one aisle that had all the titles from the ad plus a few more. I pulled out Batman Begins WS and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire WS.
But at the checkout Harry Potter rung up at $19.99. When I protested a young supervisor with a teeth-gnashing grin explained that for some titles only the Foolscreen is on sale. I again protested that they both came out of the same sales standee, but that meant nothing to him. So shame on Target for stocking sales titles in with non-sales titles in hopes that your shoppers won't notice at ring-up. So my only Target purchase was:
Batman Begins WS $3.98
and that's it, a few bargains in under two hours.
