Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix Teaser Poster

Very Voldy-rific:

Even though this is my least favorite book and hence least-anticipated movie, I have to say that poster is nice. Can't remember that line from the book though.

What great timing, though. Wanna bet that 13 July 2007 is one day before the release of the final Harry Potter novel?

I'll bet that it is 6 days after the release of the 7th book. 7/7/07 is too perfect to miss.

Doubt it. Because if that were the case, no one would go to the movies since we'll all be at our local bookstores for the last midnight madness.

I was under the impression that the next book would not be published in time for this movie.

BTW, for the uninformed, the teaser for this is set to premiere with Happy Feet tomorrow.

The rumors I've heard is that J.K. Rowling is very close to finishing her final Harry Potter novel--it will probably be turned into her publisher (Bloomsbury) probably late January to early February 2007 for July 2007 release date. I still think the July 14, 2007 release date is what Bloomsbury/Scholastic is aiming for....

I thought there was some rumours going around that Emma Watson might not be in "The Half Blood Prince" due to a request in higher salary, was this worked out, cause she's definately listed in IMDB as being in it... of course IMDB does get info wrong here and there.

I don't remember the line, either. They could have picked a better one.

I actually think this could be a very good movie. Part of the problem with the book was that it was so long and mostly depressing. It's hard to read 800 pages of Harry getting crapped on repeatedly and feel good about it.

The good thing is that they obviously had to cut out a lot. There were many repeating events that could be cut and there were also certain Hagrid moments that wouldn't be missed. I wonder how much of the educational stuff they'll cut this time.
