WB loves to slash prices on their back catalogue.

Thanks for the update, I'm in for Smallville season 4!

I stopped by Sam's and saw their lackluster prices:

King Kong EE - $24.88 (Why bother selling it if you are going to charge the same as everyone else?)
Da Vinci Code SE - $54.88
Looney Tunes 4 - $39.88 (I was hoping for a little better price than this)

Was Looney Tunes 4 at Costco? I don't see it in your price list, just the first 3.

Which seasons of the X-Files would be the ones to grab?

Posted this in the green mile thread, but haven't heard anything. Any help appreciated.

Dang, let my costco membership expire a while ago, does anybody know if you can get a day visitor pass and buy things with it?

I do believe that you can get a one day pass at the Membership Services desk, but you'll have to pay an extra 5%(45 cents for The Green Mile).

Didn't see any of those (DT2, Gummi, or C&DRR2) at my store. I picked up DT2 and Gummi Bears at BB in-store for $20 a piece when you buy both.

My bad. It looked like the ones at my Costco were the old ones. I'll check tomorrow to make sure. I'm glad it's right across the street from work.

Singin' in the Rain

Rebel without a Cause
Heat
Once Upon a Time in America
One Flew over the cuckoo's Nest
Kevin Costner Robin Hood
Green Mile

The stock number was 152644 for all of them

They are the old ones. I just don't know which seasons were the ones that didn't have everything 'ported over to the slimpack version..

Blah -- my Costco had the new Brando and Newman sets for $36.19. I picked them up anyway, after having made the trip.

There was a thread somewhere around here that stated those seasons which originally had six discs had everything ported over, while those that had 7 obviously dropped the content of the bonus disc, but kept any episodes on that last disc. I believe seasons 6 and 9 origininally had 7 discs (so they would lose content in the new slim packs), but I don't have the rest of the sets in front of me to check.
