Rodgers & Hammerstein new 2 disks: $16.99 at Meijer
Carousel, King and I, and South Pacific, the three new Rodgers and Hammerstein two-disk special editions released Nov. 7, are $16.99 at Meijer through Sat. Nov. 11, 2006.
I looked for, but did not find, Flower Drum Song at Meijer; it is the last R&H film to hit DVD and was released the same day.
Target: did not have any of the four, but did have the 12 disk box set for $69.99, that includes the above and Sound of Music, State Fair, and Oklahoma two-disks, but not Flower Drum Song. The set has very thin individual film boxes.
Best Buy: has Flower Drum Song for $19.99, but did not find the other three new versions. It doesn't seem to be on sale as it is marked that way on the tag.
