King Kong Deluxe EE Prices/Exclusives

Best Buy = $24.99 (No Exclusives)
Circuit City = $24.99 (No Exclusives)
Target = Nothing Mentioned in Ad......
KMart = $24.99 (No Exclusives) ---- One source stated already released..YMMV

I know I want this and planned on getting it the day I heard it was coming out.

Only problem is I thought it would be cheaper and they would at least throw in some extras of some kind.

I will post what I've hard so far from Speedy's ads. Doesn't look promising so far.
If anyone hears anything else post it here and I'll move it up.

Do don't plan on posting anything about the next gen format.

As you can see above not a very good deal.

Does the Deluxe Edition have the option to play the movie with all the deleted scenes included or do i have to go back and select each one?

From what I could tell YES the movie is all together and can be played with the deleted scenes...

Here's a review of it (it's of the R2, but it has the same content), the extras seem to be on-par with (if not better) than those of the LOTR EEs. $25 is a bargain. (though Costco will have it for even a little less)

From what I hear about the extended sequences all 3 involve extra dino/monster attack scenes but no kong.

I'll probably pick this up as I"m a die hard Kong fan but I truely wish they would have took out the first 60 minutes and added more Kong

Seems to be worth it. I'll watch it and decided whether to sell my single disc or not.

Are they doing an HD-DVD deluxe version. I am starting to lose interest in deluxe versions on regular dvd's, especially when there is an HD-DVD.

With the DDD 20% off sale starting on 11/10, you can order this on release day for $22.02. That price is based on their current selling price which could change by then. So it might be worth waiting to see what DDD's regular price is on that day to make a decision where to buy.

Frys $23.99, PM at BB. Not a big savings but a buck is a buck.
