Don't get me wrong. I'd kinda gland the answer is "no" - saves me money. But I was sort of expecting some kind of store exclusives for King Kong and The Forbidden Planet; especially the latter. When Best Buy sold the tin box set for the original Kong it came with exclusive bonus postcards - more movie posters. Oh well.

I'm fairly certain it's probably the 3-disc Sci-Fi Channel miniseries.

Since David Lynch had his name removed from the extended cut of the '84 theatrical movie when the additional footage was added, it's not a director's cut.

There are actually some good $7.99 CD titles...I may have to pick up Gomez, TV on the Radio, and The Killers

Could it be the Brad Pitt / Julia Roberts movie of that name?

Now I have to pay probably $25 x 3.

I was also expecting something exclusive from one of the retailers on one or both of these titles but it looks like Amazon gets my money for Forbidden Planet and I'll wait on Kong till later since my wallet is hurting from ordering the MASH set from DDD.

At least Green Mile got in Best Buy's ad. Only one of the big three. Unfortunately no Looney Gold #4 in any of them. Lotsa calls and/or checking in person to see who even carries Gold4 & the price (including Wal Mart, K Mart & Sam's).
