Amazon messing with MSRP's?

What's going on with Amazon lately? They've raised the MSRP on several HD DVD (Universal) titles in the last couple of days.

Ones that I noticed:
Chronicles of Riddick
Van Helsing
Bourne Supremecy

All show an MSRP of $34.98. To the best of my knowledge, Universal's MSRP is $29.98 for these, right???

Maybe they decided they were losing too much money on their 10% off promotion?

I've had plenty of issues with Amazon lately. They added a shipping charge to one of my orders after I asked why it took so long to ship. However, after complaining they gave me $10 off my order for the King Kong HD DVD.

I also ordered the Forbidden Planet HD DVD set and asked them why I didn't get the 10% off like my other HD DVDs. Their response
It appears that your order did not meet all of the qualifications
specified for this promotional offer. However, in appreciation of
your valuable business to Amazon.com, we have decided to waive the
restriction and apply the promotion to your order. You should see
an adjustment to your order in the amount of $8.87
I've ordered over a dozen HD DVDs from them with the 10% discount so obviously I'm already qualified for it. I guess I can't complain since they gave me a much larger discount than I asked for, but their customer service never used to be this clueless.

I've been having trouble getting my ten percent discount to show up as well. I found that changing the shipping method several times will eventually get it to show up. For me at least it seems to be a technical site glitch and has been happening for the past two weeks.

23.95 is the price I'm noticing.

I think you have to be a bit patient with the 10% deal. It seems to take them some time to add it to certain titles. It just got added to Superman Returns yesterday. I just ordered the Blu-ray version.

Correct. But they've altered the MSRP of these titles, and kept the same "discount percentage". All of these showed an MSRP of $29.9X previously, and were priced at $19.9X.

Your right. I bought 15 dvds last week and all except three of them were 19.9X
