An odd dvd/item "buy together and save" combo from Amazon...
I realize this probably isn't considered a "bargain", but I really didn't see any other forum to put this in, so....
Came upon the following item from the Amazon Friday Sale and couldn't help but click on it.... only to find the strangest "Better Together" offer a little way down the page:
Master Lock 9-Link Street Cuffs
I could certainly understand if they wanted to combine it with an adult dvd purchase, but Ice Age 2??? I don't want to think about what kind of person would think this was a sensible combo....

(Actually, I thought the movie was great.

And the implication of any kind of cuffs and a children's movie as some sort of bargain deal is very, very odd.... to say the least!

Makes perfect sense to me...
Nowadays, many parents use DVD movies as a 'babysitter' (Heaven forbid you actually spend time with your kid w/o external entertainment). But depending on how many times the little rugrat has seen the movie, it might not hold his interest all the way through. Since mom or dad are in the bedroom w/ their new sig. other smoking weed, they can't take the chance that the little tyke will wander off into the other room. Therefore, they handcuff him to the coffee table. Voila, mystery solved!
P.S., I don't have any kids, so don't worry that...
