is this a film that would look significantly better in HD?
i've never seen it, but i'm debating between the two versions.

I dunno, Jack Black is shirtless for much of the film, I guess it depends on your stance on manboobs.

But it actually was a fairly colorful film, lots of bright costumes and such, I bet it looks as good as everything else on HD-DVD.

I've not seen the movie, but I do have the trailer playing at 720p in my Xbox 360. The film looks pretty good and there seems to be a lot of potential for showing detail. This one I'll be picking up on HD DVD for sure. For the most part, I'd prefer getting the HD version since they usually contain at least the same amount of extras.
