i love army of darkness and i love animal house, and land of the dead woulde be a great one to own in hd as well, but will there ever be a version thats not a flipper disc? i can't justify spending the money on a disc with a version i won't use.
besides, those things have got to get scratched to shit anyways.

If there will be any single sided re-releases, they probably aren't going to be out anytime soon. Nothing's been announced either way.
It is probably a safe bet that you'll see Army of Darkness re-re-re-re-re-re-re-released in every configuration you can imagine, though.

but at the same time, somewhat tied in,
why are all of these hd-dvds the theatrical cut?
I WANT THE EXTENDED VERSION OF KING KONG SO I DONT HAVE TO BUY BOTH.
