Similar movies to Bridget Jones's Diary
I have a friend who LOVES this movie and is looking for suggestions on other movies too watch. So I'm trying to think of similarly themed movies to offer as suggestions and a few titles popped into my head immediately like Notting Hill, Jerry Maguire, and Love Actually, but I'm looking for other titles that aren't as mainstream as well. And I figured some heads are better than one, so if anyone has suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Mainstream:
Must Love Dogs (although I know nothing of the quality of this film)
While You Were Sleeping (Slasher-horror flick)
Raising Helen (sequel to above)
Those early two Jennifer Aniston movies (Picture Perfect and Object of my Affection)
Slightly less mainstream:
Sliding doors (has the goofy girl and the hairy British guy)
Next Stop Wonderland (A mother places a personal ad for her daughter)
Shopgirl (albeit less funny than the rest)
Upside of Anger (clever script, dysfunctional woman, although not like BJ)
