Hello everyone,

I'm trying to remember a title of a western that I saw awhile back. I think James Stewart was in it and he was seeking revenge on his Father's or Brother's killer and winds up in Mexico thinking he found the killer but the killers? wife begs him not to kill him or convinces him that James made a mistake and James rethinks his ideas about the whole revenge thing.
I hope I'm not to vague but that is all I remember right now.

While there is some variance from your description, my initial thought is that it might actually be a Gregory Peck film called "The Bravados" (1958).
