Family Video had the Steve McQueen Essential box set for 20 bucks, but I missed it because I asked DDD to pricematch it (so that I wouldn't have to set up a new account with Family Video). I waited... and waited... and didn't even get a reply. This was after calling them and asking them exactly what I was supposed to do.

So anyway... I think I missed that sale. Any other good deals on this set?

You might still find some either at Costco or BJs. Saw one set at my local BJs 2 weeks ago.

On another note... does anyone know why DDD ignored me? It clearly has the price and shipping on that page, so what gives? I thought DDD had a price match GUARANTEE! Or is Family Video not considered legit retailer to them?

Bought my set for $19.99 +tax at Costco around father's day. I haven't seen any lately (ymmv) and it looks like Costco has "thinned" their DVD section in the past few weeks.

Maybe they'll get more in before Christmas.

ddd customer service has been severly lacking lately. I emailed about the peewee sets that were supposed to be on sale until aug 28. They changed the prices from 19.99 to 26.99 a few days before that. I emailed to ask why and if I could get the original sale price, explaining that I waited because the sale was supposed to last until the 28th. They just answered all my emails with this:

"please be advised the price for the peewee seasons is 26.99"
