I just came across this trailer on Apple.com and thought the concept was fascinating. I had no idea these films existed. I'm ordering the box set off Amazon which can be found here.

It's a great series. I've been watching them every seven years since 21 Up.

Living up in England i used to always look forward to these being on TV. The series continues to be interesting and is one of the greatest uses of film so far IMO. I remember Kubrick wanting to use a real child for AI and to film him over years so that it would be a true reflection of his growth......this is the closest thing to it, and its probably where Kubrick got the idea from. I will definately look forward to seeing 49 Up.

I haven't been watching them seriously, but I remember watching and being very interested in 7 up in junior high. *This* is a reality show I could watch.

You shouldn't buy it, though...I'm sure there'll be a double dip in about seven years....

Also, warning--don't read the description of the series on DDD. There's a couple spoilers : ( [maybe not huge ones, but there nonetheless.]
