You can get a bottom of the line desktop from Dell for $279. Might check to see if you can find any coupons.

I too am looking for a desktop but i'm curious what all options there are out there.

$400 - $500 including a decent flat panel monitor.
No bells and whistles but a little more power than Dell with a slightly higher cost.

What model is this? I just looked at delloutlet and the lowest cost was $339.
Do you have to check on it frequently to get a deal like this? I assume this didn't include a monitor? What was your shipping costs.
