Rockford and Columbo under 20 bucks!

All Universal titles. So lots of Law and Order

I've been hesistant to pick up Columbo at $30 because the number of episodes in each set, but the $20 price tag makes it much more tempting.

Yeah. But most episodes were 90 minutes, so you can look at it as 6 or so movies.

Thanks pilot. Ordered Columbo: S5 and the $3.99 Glengarry Glen Ross. I added another DVD that a friend wanted to put it over $25, in order to get Free Shipping (my Prime trial expired a few months ago ).

I highly recommend both seasons of Rockford. Fortunately, Universal put Season 2 on 6 discs instead of those lousy DVD-18's.

Monk Season 4 for me. I have a $25 GC burning a hole in my pocket.

LAW & ORDER: SVU is very tempting, but I picked up Season 2 a few weeks ago for $19.99 on sale at Best Buy, and I keep hoping they'll spotlight some of the other seasons at that price level.

Thanks for posting! I've been waiting for a deal on the Columbo and Rockford File sets. Picked up Columbo Seasons 3, 4, and 5, and the Rockford Files Season 1 and 2. I also need Northern Exposure Season 4, but Best Buy has it for only $19.99 this week compared to Amazon's $29.99 price. I'll either try to price match it at DDD, or plan on picking it up at Best Buy if I can get over there.

If you can only get one season of Rockford, I would recommend Season 2. Season 2 is a stronger overall season, which includes the classic Rob Reiner episode. Season 2 was also released with 6 single sided DVDs, whereas Season 1 was released on the problematic DVD-18's. Universal also omitted the original two part pilot from the Season 1 set. This pilot is included in the Season 2 set as a bonus feature.

for those who may have looked and not bought, some stuff may have dropped.. I had Northern Exposure: The Complete First and Second Seasons in my cart, which was $29.99, it's dropped 10 bucks further to $19.99 ..(67% off) ..

though i don't know the price from a few days ago, and since the sale is 'up to 50%' i'd reckon Northern Exposure - The Complete Fourth Season for $19.99 (67% off) is another recent drop (great deal too) as well as all Monk Season 1, 3 and 4 are 53% off (two is 50%) ..

I wish Amazon dropped the price sooner because I ended up getting Northern Exposure Season 4 from DDD doing a price match from BestBuy.com for $21.68 instead. Since I ordered some other stuff from the sale I would have saved the shipping charge on the price match. Too late now and not worth the hassle to return it since it was already shipped.

Damn, what a price on Northern Exposure Seasons 1 and 2. I picked it up from DDD for about $30 during the last sale and thought it was a great deal. And to rub it in a little more, Amazon put it in my gold box today for $18.99. Ugh.

I don't have seasons 3 and 4 yet, so I may pick those up from Amazon for an average of $25 per season.

Nice call Pilot. But now they've quickly RESET the prices to be 'up to 50' excluding S3 Northern Exposure which is still at 67%, 19.99. Still lowest $ I've seen on NE and all Monks and all Columbos. nice.

I ordered seasons 1/2 and 4 of Northern Exposure yesterday morning when they were $19.99. Then last night I saw the prices went up to $29.99 but Season 3 had gone down to $19.99 from $29.99. So, in the end I ended up getting the 4 seasons for just under $60.

Damn, I hesitated and now the prices gone up for NE.
