This will be the third time I had to preorder and cancel this item. I first ordered it from Amazon for $60.00, then $42.87. Yikes!

hmmm, $40 is still high... Anyway, i found the show not that intense as the first season. Just wait a little bit, you might be able to get it for under $35.

Also keep in mind that the first season had about 8 gazillion bonus DVDs and other in-store promotions. I'll probably wait and see what places like Best Buy plan to do with this...

That being said, 35% off with free shipping is a pretty damn good price. So anyone who doesn't care about promo stuff should probably jump on this.

Be sure to check your Gold Box. I don't know if they have adjusted the Gold Box discount since the price drop, but it was $2.14 a couple of weeks ago.

I reckon that you'll be seeing prices before $40.00 during release week in addition to store exclusives. (Last year Best Buy had it for $39.99 with an exclusive bonus DVD.)

I thought someone sold Season 1 for $35 during release week. I'm going to wait and see what the first week prices are.

Free shipping is indeed $25 or higher. However, FYE does not give you free shipping when you use a coupon, even if the order is more than $25. You'll only receive free shipping if it's part of the coupon promotion. They sometimes have a 10% off plus free shipping coupon.

Maybe it doesn't work on preorders? I tested it out and it doesn't even work for orders under $25. So, definitely a dead code. Seems weird to call it MCJULY2006 now though since we're into August, but it says it is valid until October...
