I wasn't really interested in this but I try to keep up on the reviews as, obviously, poor sales may result in other series not being released.
The opening theme is probably a royalty thing but to many people it will ruin the whole thing.

I started going through this set myself last night, and yup, no opening theme at all - it completely takes you out of the moment if you're expecting to hear it. Not sure what the reasoning is but it's a huge slam against this set. The video quality isn't all that either.

The review in the link specifies that the menu selection chosen was "Play All".
Is it possible that by accessing the episodes individually (if an episode select option is
provided that is) the opening theme/closing credits will play? I'm assuming no, but I
thought it best to ask.
