Sam's Club: Curb Your Enthusiasm $21.88 each season incl. 5
Just got back from Sam's Club and saw they had a bunch of notable prices (all YMMV - this was at the Naperville, IL store):
CYE Seasons 1-5, = $21.88 each
Carnivale : Season 1, 2 = $59.xx each
WB Tough Guys Collection, Film Noir Vol. 3, Gangster Collection = ~$38 each
Film Noir Volume one = ~$18
Also saw Sporano's Season 1 & 2 for about $40 each.
Hope this helps - but please understand that these prices do vary from location to location, so if you have to go a long way, I'd call before heading out.

Saw it at Costco for $23.88 IIRC. Plus the other seasons.
Of course I did a pre-order from Borders via Amazon since I had a credit. But it was just under $26 w/no tax or ship so not much worse. Especially since I had credit at Borders.

I bought the first season blind, as well, and don't recall laughing so hard in my life.

I watched the first disk of season one, I'm a huge seinfeld fan, and just thought this show sucked. Bad "acting" and he is just an ass...BUT, I could be wrong. I should probably revisit it. I hated the office (bbc) for the same reason and really like the american office.
So, take my review for what you will.

I don't have a Sam's Club account, so I went ahead and ordered it from Amazon for $25.57. I won't have to pay any tax or drive to get it since I got the free two day shipping right now and I will get 3 points per dollar on my Amazon VISA.
I have all 4 seasons and find them hilarious. A lot of the dialogue is ad-libbed unlike Seinfeld, but the connected plot points and the way that they seem to always blow up in Larry's face the way they did to George in Seinfeld are pretty similar to that show.
Hard to judge what anyone else's tastes may be or what they will find funny though.

If you like dark, black humor and sarcasm you will love it.
If you're more into simple generic family fare like "Home Improvement" or many sitcoms that are big in the ratings w/family situations that I've not seen you will probably be disappointed.
