What are the little pixel people that Yahoo is using...

I remember some website, that I read a blurb about in either Spin or EW, had a lot of these little guys. Anyone have a link?

There is some webpage that created these little pixelated White Stripes or Beatles pics that they got these from. I was wondering if there was a name for them, so I could find the original site.

They're called "minipops" - shorthand representations of bands and artists(and other celebrities) using only a few pixels - and were first created by Craig Robinson at his website www.flipflopflyin.com.
