is DAVE MUSTAINE young looking enough to play himself in Biopic movie?

If they decided to make a movie about the life of Megadeth founder Dave Mustaine, do you think he would be too old to play himself? If you look at him, he's seem to have found the fountain of youth - he's 45 years old but doesn't really look it.

If you filmed his scenes from the early 80's to now, you can keep his hair the way it is, but just dye it back to his natural color.

For his scenes from high school, film that last and cut his hair.

Would it work?

I guess. But I don't think there is enough interest to warrant such a movie.

He looks too young to play himself.

That's my feeling as well. The guy doesn't seem to have changed too much, but he hasn't really accomplished what I feel would fill a movie.

The interest would lie in how he was kicked out of what would become a legendary band called Metallica, his low, then two years later releasing his first album under his bandname Megadeth.

The movie wouldn't even have to go very far from that point - maybe to 1988 and the release of So Far, So Good...So What, showing Mustaine at his career high.

Theatrical? Naw. A Lifetime made-for-TV movie, mayhaps. A VH-1 "Movies That Rock" segment - Definitely!

Not to drag this into a whole Megadeth discussion, but I prefer Rust in Peace. It would be interesting to talk about that stage because it's clear Mustaine was at the absolute height of his addictions but still managed to kick out an all-time classic metal album.

It was the first Megadeth album I remember hearing/seeing/buying. I was born in 1980, in Western Kansas, so that probably plays a bit into why.
