I Have Been Double Charged For An Order....

Earlier this morning I signed on to one of my CH accounts to check the status of my King Kong order. I noticed that there was a duplicate order for the exact same items for the exact same amount but with different order numbers. I then decided to check my credit card statement online and it in fact showed two duplicate charges from CH. So right away I called CH and the person I talked to said that there was only one order for the items. I said well according to your site there are two orders with two different order numbers. I asked if she could look up order numbers and she said know but she did check to see if the credit card I used had been charged more than once. And she verified that there was a duplicate charge but didn't know why. SHe assured me that there was only the one order and that the other charge was only pending and would not be made final. My question is this, should I be worried? Has anyone else had this happen. I have read about people getting charged for items they didn't order before but charged twice for the same items is a new one to me. I printed up everything so I have proof just in case. And to add insult to injury, the person I spoke with had the nerve to try and sell me a copy of Memoirs of a Geisha and get me to join the BMG Music Club.

This happened with one of my recent orders - a second order showed up when I signed on to my account. I don't know if the charge was ever on my CC, but if it was, it's gone. I wouldn't worry too much about it, but keep an eye on the charge to make sure it disappears - obviously Columbia House is very, very messed up. Understatement of the century.
