New member, trying to make sense of how to use CH to my best advantage. I have read a lot of the forum, and this is what I understand:

To open multiple CH accounts

fulfill the agreements

cancel

and then start all over again.

I have opened 2 CH dvd accounts and 1 DisneyDVD accounts so far over the weekend. My question is this:

can you use discount codes to fulfill your membership? From what I have read, I think you can- but there is a lot of info here that it is a bit confusing because on the CH website it said that you can only fulfill by buying dvds, "at regular club prices"

Also, CH did not take my credit card info when applied, yet when they emailed me they said "after approval your cc will be billed." -what is that about?

Any hints on how to make the best of my memberships would be appreciated!

Welcome aboard, your life will never be the same. You can use codes to fulfill. After you are approved, you'll have access to the site. Your temporary user name will be your account number and your password will be your zip code(you can change this after you sign on). Here is the cheapest way to currently fulfill a membership-

1. Sign on at columbiahouse.com/webdvd(you'll get an additional $5 off of your first online order of $30 or more).
2. Click onto the link that says "Looking for the offer in your mailing?" and enter 807748 into the pop-up box. This will give you 2 free DVDs when you buy 2 at regular price and free shipping. The 2 free DVDs cannot be a box set nor a pre-order.
3. Choose your 4 titles-I like to take 2 pre-orders as my fulfillment titles because they are only $19.95 as opposed to $21.95-$22.95 for in-stock titles.
4. The $5 coupon from step 1 will be taken off of one of your fulfillment titles, making the price $14.95. Don't worry, this will still count as 1 towards your commitment.
5. Print the final screen before you submit your order(sometimes the price will change after you submit your order). Also, if there are *** where the price should be, you might want to wait and order at a later time when the prices are back.
6. You should pay for your orders up front with a credit card. If you don't use a credit card up front, they will sometimes ship just part of your order and won't ship the rest until the first part has been paid. Also, they ship as titles are available. You can pre-order a movie that doesn't come out for a few months and they will still ship out the in-stock titles right away.
7. Assuming that you used the best enrollment code and you take 2 pre-orders as your fulfillment, then the math should go as follows-

7 DVDs for $12.89(enrollment package)
1 DVD for $19.95(pre-order fulfillment)
1 DVD for $14.95(pre-order fulfillment with the $5 coupon applied)
2 DVDs for FREE
Shipping for FREE
Tax for FREE(at least in my state)

Total $47.79 for 11 DVDs(average price per DVD is $4.35)
