Idol typically only ties up Tues and Wed right? I don't have a dual tuner Tivo and I'd hate for them to be on at the same time! Anyone have any more info on this?

Tues-Wed for Idol, but with That 70's show on Thurs at 8, who knows what gimmics they'll pull....plus the tryout shows sometimes take 6 nights a week....it seems

Just dust off that old VCR and set it up. That's what I typically do for Idol, especially in the beginning when they have shows every single day. And the second show of the week is always torture to watch live, without the ability to skip through to the end.

Actually, beginning in late Feb., Idol will be on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with the results show airing Thursdays from 8-9pm.

Once they narrow it to the final 12, it's just 1 performance show & 1 results show per week.

Generally, it's 1 hour for the performance shows, 30 minutes for the results shows. But this varies from week to week.

The early performance shows, with a lot of contastants sometimes go 90mins

The audition episodes are going to be 2 hours. I believe the performance shows will range from 60-90 minutes, and the results shows are going to be an hour.

I think they seem to drag the results out tooooo long. It's annoying. I'd rather Tivo it, so that when Seacrest says "after the break" I'll skip right to it.
