Question about Joey's wardorbe on Full House
When I was young and watching this, I noticed that Uncle Joey always wore Marithé et François Girbaud jeans. Does anyone know if he personally liked them so much that he had wardorbe people buy them for him for the show, or did he insist on wearing his own jeans rather than wear the show's clothes?

Damn. Flashback to 1990. These jeans were all the rage when I was in high school. I can remember going down to Fashion Place mall, and going into the store called JMR, and looking at the wall of Girbaud. $80 dollars for a pair of pants. Sheesh.

Okay, we can shut this forum down. With this inquiry about jeans on Full House, we have now exhausted all possible television threads.
Those jeans are probably what enabled him to score with Alanis Morrissette.

Damn, Caverici's was the pinnacle of bad 90's fashion... in high school we used to take caverici's at the cuff, fold them so that they were air tight and roll them up so they'd stay in place. Kind of like anti-floods. What were we thinking?

I had a pair of ZCavericis that had somewhere between 40-50 belt loops. You had to weave your belt in and out of them... what a pain.
But they sure looked cool.
My brother was a big Girbaud fan.

Same here bro, I also had about 7 pairs of Cavaricis. I even had a matching Bolero-cut jacket to match one pair of pants, that I wore to my 8th grade graduation, with a........bolo tie.

All the cool kids wore Cavarrici's. I guess they went out in Tampa when I was in 7th grade, which would have been around 91 or 92 also.
BTW, Girbaud's are huge again with gangsta types.

The only thing my TiVo is recording all week is a CSI: NY repeat.
