Born-1954 show-Adventures of Superman-1952 Here's hoping that someone from that show makes a guest appearance or cameo on Smallville.

Adventures of Superman was huge for me. Born in 1957, I was captivated and to me George Reeves will always be Superman. (Unlike subsequent wimpier Supermen)

The Monkees, which is just barely older than me, is the only one that comes to mind.

Born '82...here's my top 5:

I Love Lucy
Twilight Zone
Get Smart
The Brady Bunch
Bewitched

Honorable Mentions:
Alfred Hitchcock Presents (might edge into the top 5 once I've seen all the episodes)
The Monkees
Lassie (can't help it...i'm a dog lover )

I've seen every episode of most of the ones on my list (thank you, Nick-at-Nite, TV Land, and Sci-Fi Channel! ). I'd also add Three's Company, but it was still in its original run when I was born and I only included ones that started and ended before '82.

Yup, me too. Not much pre-1967 that holds up very well, but TZ sure does.

I Love Lucy is the only one I can think of right away that qualifies year-wise and still holds up today. I guess The Little Rascals may count because although they were released in theaters, they were repackaged in the 50s for television.
