When did this go to 16:9? Was it Unlimited, or before? These episodes are 4:3.

I'm never sure, since it's a TV show - but mods, please feel free to move it if need be.

The show was animated 4:3 initially and cropped to 16:9 for the Saturday night showing.

Though it's important to note that apparently, the show's creators designed the show for widescreen, so nothing was lost in the transition.

However, people will complain about this. Of course, even if they went widescreen people would complain about that too, since there'd be picture loss.

That is a very homoerotic post.

And on-topic, I can't wait to pick up this set. Now, if I could just get caught up on Batman and Superman.

I wish we could get some cast commentary on a few episodes (Conroy, LaMarr, Hamill, etc)

No kidding. I'm still only 2/3 of the way through Season 2 of BTAS, and haven't even gotten to Season 3 or 4 yet.

A little off topic but I wonder if any of these Superfriends episodes will ever see the light of day? I bought the Challenge of the Superfriends last Saturday and would love to have more. I remember Adam West returning as Batman for the Super Powers Team. I would love to be able to watch these old shows again.
