Best Talking Heads Album?

Now that everyone is receiving their box sets and giving these records a fresh spin, what do you think is the best studio record in the Talking Heads catalogue? I may be in the minority on this one, but the lp I find myself listening to the most is Fear of Music. How about you?

"Best" is so subjective - my two favourites are "Little Creatures" and "True Stories".
and I know that I'm cheating here but I really L-O-V-E this live album of theirs:

That is about it for me. I have all their stuff on vinyl still, but I really lost interest after "Fear Of Music" was released.

The Name Of This Band Is... is definitely my favorite album as well. Great versions of great songs, along with Adrien Belew on guitar!

ah, why do you do this to me. there's something on each album that prevents it from becoming better than another in my mind. i have the most fun listening to "more songs..." and "remain in light" but then again, i love the insanity of "fear of music" and "speaking in tongues". i also think the stop making sense album is amazing. with these new remasters, they're all sounding new and fresh to me.
i guess my vote will go to "remain in light" for now, as the songs that i love on that album are absolutely amazing and outshine anything from any other album, save for "this must be the place".

The first I heard is still my fave.
More Songs About Buildings and Food
then
Fear of Music, then 77, then Remain in Light (was a letdown after the first three) then the rest which I didn't get into as much.

I think the Talking Heads are probably responsible for warping my musical taste. Good job! I saw them on 20/20 of all places, singing a smidge of Psycho Killer and I think Pulled Up, I bought their album the next day, and I think that's what started leading my astray from what everyone else in High School liked (for example Styx, bleh).
1. '77 (by a hair over #2)
2. Fear of Music (this has Heaven one of my 2 favorite Talking Heads songs)
3. More Songs... (this has The Big Country the other of my 2 favorite Talking Heads songs)
Those 3 are great. The next 3 I think are all pretty good--I totally disagree with people who think True Stories and/or Little Creatures suck, they have a lot of songs I really like on them.
4. True Stories
5. Little Creatures
6. Remain in Light (good but a little two world-music for me--also, I'd expect this to win the poll because other people don't agree with me)
A large gap until
7. Speaking in Tongues (It's their biggest hit I suspect, but I don't really care for it)
8. Naked (I never was able to get into this--I only own on tape right now--which means, yes, I don't own the new box YET)
Of the other ones I have, I don't really know where to rank Name of this Band, Stop Making Sense (soundtrack). Sand in the Vaseline and Once in a Lifetime are both fine but basically greatest hits so don't need to be ranked.

if you guys are TH fans make sure to check out Live Phish 15: 10/31/96. Phish (yes i know you hate them) cover Remain in light in it entirity, really cool show that puts a new spin on the album, really creapy at parts.

Get the joke?
I can't say that I hate Phish since I've never heard them before. Although I probably would hate them.
