Shiny! I just wish this were sooner. Granted I've had the theme and other cuts from the DVDs for awhile now, but it'll be nice to have an official release. Crossing my fingers for "The Hero of Canton" to be on there!

FIREFLY
Original Television Soundtrack
Music Composed by Greg Edmonson

From the creator of BUFFY, THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and ANGEL
The cult TV series that spawned the new film Serenity!
The devoted fans of the TV show had their prayers answered when Universal Pictures announced that the Serenity would fly again in a feature film. Now, as a companion piece to our own release of the Serenity soundtrack comes this first release of music from the Fox sci-fi western series Firefly.
Five hundred years in the future, there is a whole new frontier, and the crew of the Firefly-class spaceship Serenity is eager to stake a claim on the action. They’ll take any job, legal or illegal, to keep fuel in the tanks and food on the table. But things get a bit more complicated after they take on a passenger wanted by the new totalitarian Alliance regime. Now they find themselves on the run, desperate to steer clear of Alliance ships and the flesh-eating Reavers who live on the fringes of space.
Composer Greg Edmonson created a flavorful, guitar-based score for the adventures of the crew of the Serenity, which is currently being broadcast on the Sci-Fi channel and is now available, in its entirety, on DVD. Fans have been clamoring for this music since the show’s debut and now, finally, we are pleased to offer it. CD features exclusive bonus tracks.

I can't seem to get the site to load here at work, but if you go to foxmusic.com, you can download the album now for like $10, and there's also a track list.
