Nada Surf - The Weight Is A Gift - Sept. 13th

For anyone interested, this new CD may have flown under the radar.

I love Nada Surf...if you haven't checked them out, do so.

A video and free MP3 listen are available at their website, nadasurf.com.

I am quite underwhelmed by this album, even disappointed. Let Go is such a great, underrated album that I think I expected better from this album. Nothing on this new album stands out to me. I will try and give it a few more listens.

I picked up High/Low when it first came out back in 96 I think and I listen to it all the time, for some reason I never picked up their other albums though. How do they stack up against H/L?

I'd have to agree that this is not as good as "Let Go" but it’s still a decent album. I'll still be buying it on release day. I read somewhere that the first pressing is supposed to contain a bonus disc with 3-5 b-sides.

I listened to the entire thing and I must be in the minority...

I love this album. I think it's great from top to bottom.

I agree. I love this album. It is catchy as old heck and less filler then Let Go (which is also great)
