Busy cd day today...
Bought 3 cds today. I think I may have bought 4 this entire year before that. Certainly the most I've bought in a day.
Picked up the new From Autumn to Ashes, new 30 Seconds to Mars and the new Cold cd.

Yes. We do. My cd purchases should be newsworthy.

Nothing looks that interesting to me. MAYBE Gilberto Gil's new live album. Maybe Mad Professor's Method to the Madness. And I know eventually I will listen to Late Registration.
So, not agreeing with Deftones.

I loved Ok Go's first album and saw their new one at work today. I didn't pick it up, might later. A big day indeed, with Kanye and...Tony Yayo for those inclined.

I'm pissed
Somewhere during the production of Late Registration Kanye West decided it wasn't a good idea to have an awesome song with John Mayer...yet still have a song with the guy from Maroon 5. What? Two white boys are too many?

I picked up the new Fear Factory last week as well. It's pretty good, although I miss the drums and all over in-your-face of Archetype. It's good to see them evolve though, and not sounding the same all of the time.
While purchasing the new Fear Factory, I grabbed The Haunted's 'The Haunted Made Me Do It'. I had their rEVOLVEr album, and liked it quite a bit. This older one kicks all sorts of ass though. I recommend it highly to any metal fan.
From Autumn to Ashes I enjoy quite a bit. I haven't picked up their new one yet, but I am going to see them in a few weeks.
Opeth I'm going to see in about a month as well with Porcupine Tree. That should be a good time. I really need to get some Opeth prior, though. I'm not sure if I've heard them yet.
Cold I'm not into so much, and Trapt can kiss my ass. After hanging out backstage with them, they were complete pricks. At least I managed to sneak out 10 or so beers when I went out front to watch the rest of the show.

I've only bought about 5 CDs this year as well. I'm currently awaiting the debut release from Stream of Passion.

Enjoy it for all of us that can't be there.

Seven CDs in one year. Either you're not into music that much or you do a ton of illegal downloading! I sometimes buy seven CDs in one week! One day even! (I do a ton of bargain shopping in the used CD bins, so it's not like I'm a zillionare or anything).

Well if you like hard rock, metal, or alternative, or anything with a good, loud, guitar, there's TONS of stuff out there!
Edit: Need to correct myself here. Actually there's TONS of stuff out there no matter what type of music you're into. You just have to look for it.
