Japanese Story
Not sure why I rented it but it was pretty good. Its about a japanese business and his female driver, Sandy. During the tour of his father's Australian holdings the two are tested by each other and the unforgiven outback. They find something that isn't love but something close. Friendship maybe.
Its a slow movie in the sense of lost in translation. Lost a good camera work and I liked Toni Collette the actress playing Sandy. She can do the look of horror well.

I just watched it. I picked up a "previously viewed" copy at Blockbusters solely on the strength of Toni Collette being the central female lead.... knowing nothing about the plot or the reviews, I ended up being very glad I'd snagged a copy. I haven't seen them all by any means, but darn if I've ever seen Toni Collette in a bad movie. She just makes it all look so easy and natural.... I'm constantly amazed at how gifted she is....
