Make this the LOTR/Star Wars board

Re-add the old LOTR board into this, it will be great discussing both things in one conveniant forum!

Well LOTR and Star Wars are like two big wars so it'll fit right in!

I don't think that's a good idea because Star Wars shouldn't even be mentioned in the breath as Lord of the Rings.

What is everyone talking about? No one would ever say anything negative about either of these films, or suggest one is better than the other. A bunch of chicken littles.

yeah, this forum would be about as peaceful as the middle east.

but I DO think this SW forum should remain, and a separate LOTR forum should be added as well.

The SW forum is slow as molasses. Why continue it? The LOTR forums were dead after a few months as well.

No need for either here permanently. There are sites like theforce.net out there where fans of these can go and talk endlessly.

I don't think so. It goes without saying that Star Wars is better than LOTR.

Star Wars is old news. Rings isn't even a blip in the fucking radar anymore. It's all about Superman Returns.

I like Star Trek. They need more movies of that.
