Any chance that this is a legit autographed item?

I really enjoy PTA's films and was checking out movie memorabilia on ebay.

What's suspect to me is that you get a COPY of the certificate... Why not send the original if it's legit?

a color copy of an original signed "BOOGIE NIGHTS" script.
Shady wording. I think it is to cover his ass. It states right there that is a copy of the original script, otherwise it would just say "an original signed script."

Crap like this bugs me almost as much as bootleg DVD's. Although, at least he doesn't claim them to be anything other than copies.

Check out his other auctions... There's a Labyrinth script (another copy, of course) that is up to $51. Also, looking at completed auctions, people have paid $50+ for others, as well. Particularly annoying are the ones that say 'rare.' How the hell is something you're copying considered rare?

Anyway, at least the OP won't be wasting his money. Good thing he posted first!

Cut the guy some slack. He couldn't read her writing. She must have been "doing" her scene when it was signed.
