Forest Whitaker's martial art style

Does anyone know Forest's martial art style? I read on some guys blog that it was called softwork but nothing else. Does anyone know if this is it http://www.circularstrengthmag.com/i...orktrailer.mov

Ghost Dog was dope and I think it be cool to practice the same style.

I've been a fan of his ever since I saw him on Hill Street Blues way back in the 80's.

Ohhhh, so it's like waiting for "thumb up" or "thumb down" from Caesar at the Gladiator games?

Sort of, but be careful that Caesar doesn't have both hands on your shoulders when giving you the "thumb up".

Man, if anyone posed this question on an MMA forum like Sherdog.com ... - wait, somebody please post it there. The responses would be outstanding!

BTW, that particular person was "respectfully" referring to Forest's "style" because it's "soft" and not "hard" and is more style than substance. While I enjoyed GhostDog as a movie I found it somewhat hard to digest his "martial arts" sequences on the rooftops etc.

Kinda like Wushu compared ... oh, Kyokushin.
