A futuristic take on the Pinnochio story. This animation film is a Canada/France/Spain coproduction and it opens here next week. Trailer looks good considering this was made for 15 million CDN while The Incredibles cost 170 million USD. Voice over on the english version include Whoopi Glodberg ans Malcolm McDowell.

Ha. For a second, I thought it was going to be some somber, deep exploration of the possibility of a puppet/robot having a soul (like A.I, Ghost in the Shell II, or Metropolis). Looks like kiddie storybook fare.

Ah, well. Take it at face value.
