Was wondering if anyone has heard about a release date for CSI 5? It seems like it should be coming down the pipe, but kind of surprised that there has been no word as of yet. Anybody know what's up?

re-release of season 1?...what's up with that?

I remember reading a while ago that Season 5 was rumored for release in October. If this is the case, I would think that we could expect an official announcement soon.

I know CSI:NY Season 1 has been announced for October already. So, I'm guessing we might not see any more CSI releases until 2006.

nope, it's going to be a re-release, in widescreen.

damn...i just got into csi...when we went on tour my friend told me to pick it up to watch in the van on the way cross country...within the last 3 weeks ive bought and watched all four seasons on dvd...that sucks im going to have to buy the first season again

Perhaps you have heard something I have not, but the notion that the re-release is going to be presented widescreen is not actually established yet. Everyone has just presumed--and hoped--as much. But I grant, it's the only thing that makes sense.

The season 1 rerelease information came from TVGuide, we didn't get it from any of our sources, and NO ONE we've spoken to has any information on the rumored set. There was also NO mention of it being in widescreen. David Lambert, who posted the news, said a rerelease of the first season would be a good opportunity for the studio to issue the first season in widescreen.
