The menu options are in a different language. Is it supposed to be this way?

I bought it from Walmart.

I have seen dvds with menus in multiple languages (though I cannot think of any off hand) ..would seem odd if it does have multiple language menus to default to something other than english, and REALLY odd for something bought at walmart to be a bootleg...did you try to go around to different parts of the menus to see if there were multiple language menus?

what language are they in? And check the setup of your player, maybe you have it set wrong.

I know for a fact that Million Dollar Baby has English and French menues... Somehow you are defaulting to French. Check your DVD player settings.

It should be under "DVD Menu Language" (or "Soft Menu" on Pioneer players), which is different from the onscreen display language. Harry Potter and the Prisoner Of Whatever has a French menu with the shrunken head talking in Francais!

Just watched mine and it defaults to english......
