Alias: Season Four -- October 25th
From TVShowsOnDVD.com:
"Within the past two weeks, we let you know that - despite TV Guide's mention of an "early in the month" release - we had gotten firm word that Alias - The Complete 4th Season would hit the streets in late October, probably the 25th. Now Buena Vista has confirmed that the October 25th release date is correct, with a $59.99 list price for the 6-DVD set. No other information is available just yet, but stay tuned!"

though I'd've rather had it release sooner, at least we finally have a release date now.
anyway, season 4 ruled and I can't wait to own it. the show totally redeemed itself after some of the crap that went down in s3. and the final episode had a very cool cliffhanger.

I really don't know if I will be getting this. I own 1-3 and I thought Season 4 was pretty lame up until the end. Overall much worse than Season 3, so I don't know. Maybe I'll get a used copy sometime.

Doughboy, if you mean the guy from Freaks & Geeks, then yes that was the episode.

definite pick up. I missed just about all of Season 4 so I'm looking forward to watching it.

Season 4 was rather weak when compared to past seasons. I think it had to do with a lot of things - but I think Mr. Abrams was entirely too focused on 'Lost' (which I don't blame him one bit for..)
There were a few redeeming episodes (perhaps 5 really good ones) and the cliffhanger was shocking...so rent it, if possible. And buy 24 Season Four instead.
