Good, fuck Ruth.
BTW, its amazing tht everyone in the show has had thier most revealing, honest scenes with either George or Billy...
...I guess everyone connects with the two nutjobs.

Goerge may be a bit out of it, but he's not dumb.
I think that Claire goes back to Billy in order to return to the artist world. That corporate job will suffocate her. That'll happen after she shows some lucky coworker her freaky side.

Good ep... I found the scenes of George's daughter sitting in the car odd. Seems obvious she's not finished yet, and considering how odd I found her to be while talking with Nate, I'd have to assume nothing good is going to come of that storyline.

Was that really Claire singing? The voice sounded like her, but I wasn't sure. By far, that musical interlude was the funniest thing I've seen on this show in a LONG time!
If anything, I think the office setting is going to inspire Claire to a new artistic revelation/level that will push her artistic career to new horizons.
Those kids are just whacked. The oldest one needs to be medicated or something. I mean where does breaking everything (see PS2) constitute "fixing" it?
Rico is just screwed - though he thinks he is in heaven. That au pair was a whack job!
We're now at the halfway point (assuming there are 12 episodes). Still a ways to go!

If they can maintain this quality through the final weeks, it will be an amazing series home stretch. You can almost taste the intensity.
And the humor is razor-sharp and wonderfully revealing ... "We were hoping for a bong"

If you recal, in the first season, there was another musical/fantasy in which she belted out a tune.

I vaguely recall the musical fantasy from season 1.

YES!!! This is the episode I've been waiting for! With the exception of a visit from dad, this had everything I Love about the show. "Real" drama, humor, wild fantasy sequence, light that dances off the characters, superb 5.1 sound, and a feeling of 'I can't wait" til the next episode. The last few kind of let me flat, and I saw an article that I'm not alone, but this one really hit the mark.
Still wondering about the significance of the two birds at night this season. (wedding and Nate's place.) Concerned for Rico...in a be careful what ya wish for kind of way.

Great episode
I hope we haven't seen the lest of George, loved the closing scene with Ruth and him.
The Ruth/Claire scene in Claire's room was nice too, thouhgh I'll miss the random outbursts from Ruth to Claire that we've gotten over the last few episodes.

OK- was that, or was that not Sam Elliott coming out of the service for the dead woman- he had a woman on his arm. Rewind those DVR's and take a look. If not, his twin!

Great episode. It was good to finally see other facets of Ruth again and not just the raving bitch we've been seeing lately. Same with Claire. The singing (both Claire's number and the song by the older women in the prep room) was just great. I hope the rest of the season can maintain the same quality.
